August 02: More QL on DVD. Universal have announced their intention to release more QL (and some other older series) on DVD in 2003. No more information yet but keep looking. :)

August 02: New Quantum Leap? Recently it was announced that Sci-Fi channel is developing an
update of QL in the form of a movie and possible new series pilot to be released in 2003. Unfortunately, it seems the news was announced prematurely and it's not known if it will even go ahead at this stage let alone if the original people will be involved.
The Pilot episode (Genesis) is available on DVD.
(US/Region 1) There are no extras on the disc, but interestingly
the leap out at the end is into Star-Crossed, instead of Colour
of Truth which was shown on video (as it was the next available
one). See Image
Entertainment website for more details on the DVD. Maybe
they'll release more episodes if the first one does well, so get
ready to go out and buy it! No news if it's coming out for Region
2 (Europe) yet, so you can only watch it on US or multi-region
DVD players.
